Fyfield Village Hall is located in the pretty west Essex village of Fyfield and caters for local sports and social community activities. The hall is used for a range of different activities and also features a sports field with two football pitches and a cricket pitch. Whilst there is a full range of activities at the hall and on the field, there is always availability for new uses of the village hall; this can include private and business functions with catering facilities as required. Fyfield's local sports celebrity, Nancy Bridge, covered the London Marathon course in an 8 hour, 3 minutes, 41 second FEAT of endurance which included running the last 13 miles on raw blisters! |
Nancy ran the Marathon in aid of The Prostate and Breast Cancer Care Charities and to date has raised £2666. Said Nancy 'I cannot believe the generosity of all of you. The Prostate and Breast Cancer Care Charities will hopefully reach the Million £ mark soon, so a great big heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you on their behalf.' |
